Work less to live more, the secret of the real form


For the first time since I was 17, I will have a long summer holiday. Without working, apart from 2-3 days here and there. I will really ask me. Truly. As I dreamed of it and as I should have so much needed last year after the professional problems I faced.

I fought mentally and physically to keep my name, my community, my known. And so I think I really have more than 18 months of work and stress without a real break. And at 42, after creating a fire community, he created hundreds of ideas for fitness, millions of content around sport and coaching, created a company with 12 employees, kept the fort during the Covv, he lost 10 employees and a separation of the partner, has started a new zero project again … Today I say it strong and clear: I have to work less.

Work less to live more, the secret of the real form

Work less to live better. A mantra that I try to remember regularly, that speaks to me a lot … that I recommend you every day … but that I have so many problems to apply to myself.

For that? I think about it often. Because I’m afraid mainly. Fear of not having enough money to maintain the standard of living that we have acquired in the sweat of our front, my spouse and I. Fear of not being clear enough / present on the different communication networks that I created. Fear of getting lost. Fear of losing something. To lose a job opportunity, an idea, a moment of life that will no longer exist …

I admit it, it is a fear that obsesses me. For that? I don’t know yet, and it would certainly require a slightly more advanced psychoanalysis.

Not enough confidence in self? Not enough perspective in relation to my education «be the best of all my other daughter, there is only that in life». Not enough money aside to face the unexpected (in relation to one of the long -lasting episodes). Not enough «corones» to say shit to all this and decrease mine. However: work less, live better … this mantra calls me and reminds me of every day always stronger. Like the Snow Queen 2. In the unknown.

Towards the unknown and the beyond. Towards a different way of working, towards a world of hope that aspire – and I think – that we all aspire.

This week, relationship with the elections, I shared Nelson Mandela’s quote: «Let your choices express themselves towards your hopes, not in the direction of your fears» or something like that. However, the problem with the internet is that quotes of this type not verifiable …

But it doesn’t matter that this phrase is from Mandela or someone else strong in the final joke … it is towards a world of hope, a less oriented «breed of mice» that I would like to live my life. More qualities. More time to do things well.

My entrepreneurial misadventure will finally learn it. I need to work less to live more slightly.

To conclude this newsletter, I would say that it is the same in sport and food !! Less to run to run better from Sebastien Cornette, less tearing most of the sports sessions to perform the day better. Eat less and better: it turns out to be true every time.

But leaning into that stillness is part of the healing process. By granting yourself permission to do less, you allow energy and creativity to return naturally, making you more prepared and inspired for what comes next.

Ultimately, a true holiday is about more than just a change of scenery—it’s about a change of pace and mindset. Whether it’s traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying quiet mornings without an agenda, these weeks can become a turning point toward a healthier, more intentional lifestyle. When September arrives, you won’t just have memories of summer—you’ll have renewed strength, clarity, and the deep satisfaction of having cared for yourself when you needed it most.
