How is a hop cycle session?

A hop cycle session at the Macon Astroveda Sports Salle revolves around several essential phases, each part designed to optimize the experience and performance of the participants.

1. Heating

Heating is a crucial phase that usually lasts between 5 and 10 minutes. Participants begin to climb their fixed bike, adjusting the saddle and handlebar according to their size to ensure optimal comfort. During this phase, they pedal at a moderate rhythm to activate blood circulation.

Coaches often choose captivating music to maintain energy and motivate participants to prepare mentally for the next effort.

The heat -Up also includes joint mobilization exercises, such as shoulders to the knee and flexions, in order to prepare the body for various movements and avoid injuries.

2. The main session

After the heat, the main session begins, where the intensity has increased.

  • Intervals : This session segment alternates between rapid pedaling periods and active recovery phases. The intervals are designed to maximize fat combustion and improve resistance.
